Privacy policy

Information collected

We collect the contact and business information you provide through an intake request or correspondence, including names, addresses, management choices and formation details. The intake does not request card numbers, Social Security numbers or account passwords. Payment information is not collected through this form.

Client accounts

Creating an account requires email verification. We store your verified email address and a password hash, and use time-limited cookies to keep you signed in. Verification and password-reset messages are sent through our email provider, which processes your email address and the message. Resetting your password signs out existing client sessions. Account access does not by itself grant access to an application or document.

Use and access

Information is used to review your request, prepare documents, provide agreed services and communicate about your application. Saved applications and draft documents are available to authorized staff. We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for third-party marketing.

Storage and service providers

Application records and documents are stored privately with the application’s hosting infrastructure and operational backups. Providers supporting hosting and backup operations may process this information to deliver those services. Information included in an authorized state filing may become a public record. External websites linked here have their own privacy practices.

Application notifications are sent to our own inbox through Fastmail and include the contact and business details you submit. Fastmail processes and stores those messages as our email provider.

Browser storage

The intake saves in-progress entries and a submission reference in this browser tab’s session storage, so a reload can recover your work. Shared devices may expose those entries to another user of the same tab. Staff authentication uses a session cookie.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and website interactions. Google may process cookies, device and browser information, IP addresses and usage events. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration.

Language preference

We suggest a language using country information from our hosting provider when available, or your browser language. Your choice overrides this suggestion and is saved in a preference cookie for one year. You can change it in the footer. This does not determine nationality or tax residence.

Retention and requests

We retain intake and formation records for a reasonable period to support services and legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for applicable obligations; removal from operational backups follows the backup-retention process.
